“I think music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”

As an educator and artist, it amazes me how connected we become when music/theatre/art are involved. My goal is to aid in the start-up, growth or help spark these connections, whether it’s to build self-esteem, confidence, joy, my hope is to help instill and develop the passion.

My arts education experience includes teaching music and creative drama classes to a variety of groups and ages. I graduated from Briar Cliff University with a degree in Vocal Performance and Theatre. I have taught theatre camps at Omaha Community Playhouse and Sioux City Community Theatre. I am also the Contemporary Worship Leader at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Papillion. I am also a teaching artist with Why Arts, involved in teaching activities with our partner audiences, some of whom face physical and intellectual challenges. Our work is visual arts, theatre, dance/movement, music, the spoken word, literature, storytelling, and animation.

Active in the Omaha Theatre Community. Director/Actor/Music Director/Props Manager for various theatres; Nebraska Shakespeare, Blue Barn Theatre, Omaha Community Playhouse, Bellevue Little Theatre, The Rose, Chanticleer Theatre, All-4-One Theatre and Fringe Festival. On the Theatre Arts Guild “TAG” Board and on the Play Selection Committee for SNAP theatre. Currently involved with Omaha Community Playhouse’s directing fellowship and selected to participate in Opportunity Corp. (Women in Steam) with UNe-Tech and Bio-Nebraska of Omaha 2022.

I am incredibly honored to be working and sharing my talents and experience with you.
