Phil Reno

Phil Reno is an award-winning professional guitarist. Although known as a rock guitarist, his playing is also strongly influenced by Blues and Country. He is a member of the band Sack of Lions, whose album White Lightning debuted on the Billboard charts at #1 in the Heatseekers category, #23 in Americana Albums, and #33 in Country Albums. Phil is also a nine-time OEAA award winner. An active and sought-after musician, he also performs regularly with the bands Lonely Estates, Pet Rock, and Secret Weapon.

Phil has been sharing his extensive knowledge and experience as a teaching artist since 1993. He is equally comfortable teaching guitar or electric bass, and welcomes beginning through advanced students of all ages – kids, teens and adults.
