Meet rising star Steven Pruss, an exceptional concert violinist and chamber musician whose talent and passion for music have garnered him acclaim in the classical music world. Already a soloist with the Omaha Symphony, Hastings Symphony, Orchestra Omaha, and Cherokee Symphony, He is also the proud winner of the prestigious OAYO (Omaha Area Youth Orchestras) concerto competition, a testament to his exceptional musical talent.
Throughout his musical journey, Steve has had the privilege of participating in some of the most esteemed programs in the country, including the Brevard Music Center, the Summer String Institute in Bloomington, Indiana, the Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory, Rocky Ridge Music Center, and the National Music Festival. He has been fortunate to work with some of the most respected instructors in the industry, including Manuel Ramos, Ahra Cho, Anne Nagosky, Erin Aldridge, Caroline Chin, Jessica Mathaes, Yang Liu, Karen Strittmatter Galvin, and Dr. Mary Perkinson. Currently, Steven is pursuing further musical education under the guidance of Olga Smola at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Steve is an active member of the Lincoln Symphony, and his performances are renowned for their emotional depth and power. His love for music and his commitment to excellence make him an inspiring teacher and mentor for aspiring musicians. Steve's friendly and approachable teaching style motivates students to unlock their full potential and express themselves musically.
